FTSE Women Leaders Review: Achieving Gender Balance

FTSE 350 companies have achieved their 40% women-on-boards target three years prior to the December 2025 deadline. Progress continues this year within leadership teams as companies slow to utilize women’s skills are becoming more noticeable.

This is the end of the second year of the FTSE Women Leaders Review, the third phase following the Hampton-Alexander and Davies Reviews. This UK-based initiative, supported by the government, is independent, voluntary, and driven by the business sector, seeking to boost women’s representation in FTSE 350 Boards and their leadership groups. In a first, the report now includes data from the 50 largest private firms.
