buddyboost – helping as many people as possible feel healthier and happier

buddyboost is a workplace wellbeing tool which uses a unique buddy-system to improve how your employees are feeling and foster a supportive culture. Recognising the link between good physical and mental health, our simple app encourages people to buddy-up in groups of up to 6 and support each other to complete just 26 minutes exercise a day for 26 consecutive days.

The buddyboost app provides employers with clear impact data. Results show that, on average, participant mood scores increase by 25% after doing their 26 minutes of activity.

During a time of remote working, the buddy-system is a great way of keeping people connected and building an engaged workforce. Not only does buddyboost provide the impact data, our ready-made communications toolkit takes care of the launch for you too.

buddyboost is inclusive, brings people together and makes them feel better.

buddyboost launched in 2020 and was conceived by Robert Tansey. During his 15 years at Sky, he initiated and led their involvement in cycling, inspiring over 1.5m more Britons to get on their bikes. buddyboost is supported by the Advanced Wellbeing Research Centre at Sheffield Hallam University.
