How to navigate ExCel with ease and get to The Watercooler and The Office hall

For our neurodivergent attendees, people who are experiencing mental ill health and anxiety ExCel is BIG and can be daunting.

The team at ExCel have come up with this video that you can follow to access the venue and find the shows and hopefully make it stress free.

The Watercooler and The Office events will be taking place in Hall S5.

Train

ExCel is connected by the Elizabeth Line and the DLR. It is served by two stations, Custom House and Prince Regent.

The Watercooler is in the West end of the exhibition centre, Custom House is the most convenient station to use.

Uber Boat

The route is serviced by Uber Boat by Thames Clippers; the fastest and most frequent boat fleet on the river with departures from major London piers every 20 minutes. For ExCeL London, alight at Royal Wharf Pier. It takes just over 20 minutes to walk through Britannia Village and over the Royal Victoria dock footbridge to ExCeL’s west entrance.

Driving

There is a carpark underneath ExCel in the Orange car park for up to 24 hours and costs £20. Parking is for cars only.

There are different sat nav postcodes for East and West ExCel. As The Watercooler is in the West, please use E16 1XL or use E16 1DR. This is the entrance closest to Custom House DLR station.

Air Travel

ExCel is located in the east of London right next door to London City Airport. You can reach ExCel from London City via the DLR alighting at Custom House.

Using the Elizabeth Line there is a 43-minute direct connection from Heathrow to ExCeL.

All other London airports are connected via central London.
