THINK TANK 2022 REPORT: Closing the gap between employer and employee perceptions of workplace health support to create real impact

The health and wellbeing of staff has never been more important to job retention and productivity. However, even though the pandemic has created a catalyst for investment, a mismatch often exists between employers’ perception of the wellbeing support they offer and employees’ perception of the support they receive.

This was the starting point for the Think Tank session at the MAD World Summit 2022 – the sister event of Make A Difference Media – which was convened with the support of digital-first health and wellebeing provider HealthHero.

During a rich discussion Chaired by Dame Carol Black, wellbeing leaders shared ideas around:

  • Why mental health and wellbeing programmes might not be effective
  • Actions wellbeing leaders can take to achieve real impact
  • Practical tips that are transferrable across sectors
