Fjorlight is a London-based health and wellbeing business that has designed a red light therapy booth with a view for it to become a therapeutic fixture of office blocks, spas, hotels, airports and other high-footfall spaces. Fjor Light developed the booth based on the extensive research available that showed a range of health benefits from improving skin conditions, reducing fine lines and wrinkles to helping heal wounds, renewing cells, reducing inflammation, improving performance and recovery, and re-energising people.
Company founder Anna Iversen, whose mission is to bring cutting-edge health promoting science and technology to the broader public, says that gaining exposure to sunlight is as important as eating a healthy diet and that our modern approach to light contributes to chronic disease.
The red light booth was designed with scalability in mind. It can be placed in any space where there is access to a level of security and maintenance capability. It is designed to be affordable, it uses very little space and only needs maintenance on a level with a vending machine. Fjorlight is incorporating smart technology including an app that will allow users to book a session from their phones.”
