"Having partnered with PayPlan, our members have access to a first-rate debt service delivered by their empathetic, professional and knowledgeable debt advisors. Countless times we have seen the profound impact PayPlan's help, advice and support has had, not just on our members' financial wellbeing, but on their mental wellbeing as well.
We have heard from members who, when they first approached us, had stopped answering the phone or opening their post, had been caught in a vicious debt spiral, robbing Peter to pay Paul. A referral made, and with PayPlan’s support they had consolidated their debts, lowered their monthly repayments, and felt confident and able to get back on top of their finances, and back in control of their lives.
We know that this is a service that our members truly value, and without our partnership with PayPlan, our ability to support our communities would be greatly diminished."
Abigail Coombs, Head of Welfare, UNISON
"Through our money and debt service, Advice NI has worked in partnership with PayPlan for over 14 years. It started with a pilot that has continued to flourish over the years. Initially, we worked with Helen and when she retired we now work with Antony. We have found PayPlan professional, accommodating and reliable. PayPlan has adapted their services to meet our needs, and no request goes unanswered. Antony will always help us find a solution, and nothing is ever too much bother. PayPlan has provided us with training, reports, updates and materials to support our money and debt services. Advisers have nothing but praise for how the referral partnership works. Antony comes to our adviser forums to provide overall performance and industry updates, which our advisers have thoroughly enjoyed. Advice NI values our relationship with PayPlan and we hope that we will continue to improve and develop together for many years to come."
Sinead Campbell, Head of Money Debt and Quality, Advice NI

"Bipolar UK is very proud to partner with PayPlan. Research shows that our community can experience high levels of debt and financial distress caused by overspending, a bipolar symptom often experienced during episodes of mania and hypomania. Large debts and financial burdens can trigger extreme stress, both for individuals living with the condition and their family, friends and loved ones.
Our unique partnership with PayPlan enables our bipolar community to receive expert and timely debt advice, as well as effective debt management support and tools. It is incredibly helpful that our peer support team can refer people directly to PayPlan, and our community is also able to self-refer.
We know from feedback that many people in our community are getting much-needed support, and ultimately gaining autonomy to manage their debt. We are delighted that our community is receiving the best support possible at times when they're likely to feel overwhelmed with debt, be in a financial crisis and needing to make difficult decisions.
Our strong working partnership has been built on solid foundations, echoing the values of PayPlan to support vulnerable clients sensitively. The team at PayPlan has taken part in reciprocal training, taking the time to understand bipolar, including symptoms and their effects and potential impact. Since our partnership began it is flourishing year-on-year, continuing to benefit many people who are living with bipolar to get access to a free debt support service that truly understands bipolar."
Rosie Phillips, Strategic Partnership Manager, Bipolar UK

"Every four weeks we run a “Making Ends Meet” panel discussion on MS teams, open to anyone I Network Rail. It is always fabulous to have PayPlan on the panel – with both Antony Price and Emma Gibbons sharing their in-depth expertise, giving lots of helpful advice and signposting colleagues to a whole variety of resources.
We have all discovered new and better ways of manging our money thanks to PayPlan. Further, PayPlan have created specific resources branded for Network Rail. Both Emma and Antony have a brilliant way of putting colleagues at ease enabling open conversation and fabulous ideas to be shared.
I really cannot thank Antony and Emma enough for their time and dedication they give in supporting Network Rail colleagues.”"

"Broxtowe Women’s Project (BWP) has been working as a partner of PayPlan for the past 5 years and this has been mutually beneficial as we have both developed a deeper understanding of the way we work and how that can benefit both our staff and our service users.
As a small Domestic Abuse charity, the partnership has allowed us to access high quality financial awareness support for the families at a time when they are trying to recover from the impact of Economic Abuse. PayPlan has been able to support via Debt management that has been handled in a sensitive way, using a clear referral process. But also, by the provision of positive financial awareness sessions and information to restore a more positive relationship with money moving forward.
In turn BWP has been able to upskill the PayPlan team about the broader effects of Domestic Abuse and how this impacts on families recovery journey. We have been able to keep updated on developments via regular meetings with the Team to ensure that the best outcomes can be achieved.
Working with PayPlan has also given BWP access to a wide range of resources and information from the other partners that they work with. This has allowed us to access training and events that a small charity may not have been able to attend, giving us a far broader knowledge base to support our families.
For BWP the partnership has been invaluable, and we are happy that the relationship continues to grow.”"
Chris Harris, Partnership Manager, Broxtowe Women’s Project (BWP)

"GamCare is the lead provider of gambling support and treatment in Great Britain. About six in 10 people accessing support from us experience gambling-related debt and we work collaboratively with the debt advice sector to address that. Over the past five years, we have built a strong partnership with PayPlan, and a direct referral pathway benefits our clients who need help managing their debts. Our treatment practitioners across all regional teams and our Money Guidance Service can facilitate a referral with the client receiving a callback from PayPlan's specialist team to discuss their debts. The option for a three-way call with clients is particularly beneficial for those in more vulnerable situations."
Raminta Diliso, Financial Harm Manager, GamCare
"The RCN Foundation have had a successful partnership with PayPlan since the launch of the RCN Foundation’s Benevolent Service in 2022. PayPlan provide regulated debt advice to the nursing and midwifery professions through an efficient, confidential and personal approach. Since 2022, over 300 individuals have sought debt from PayPlan.
Many of our applicants experience severe challenges in their personal life as well as the impact of the cost-of-living crisis. Through a streamlined referral process, our applicants speak directly to the specialist vulnerable persons team at PayPlan, who draw upon their expertise to provide a sensitive and understanding approach to support nurses, midwives and healthcare support workers during their time of financial difficulty. Alternatively, applicants may self-refer using a dedicated hub. In particular, PayPlan are sympathetic to the worries and hesitations that many individuals have about seeking debt advice.
The service PayPlan provides does not stop at debt advice. They have held joint webinars to explain the support which can be provided as well as tips on managing money and budgets. We also share a series of blogs which help to empower individuals when managing their financial affairs.
The RCN Foundation also measures the impact of the service. PayPlan support us with this through a monthly report which sets out the referral activity, main drivers for debt and the outcomes of any advice they have provided. This helps us to track and identify trends within the professions and enables us to work in partnership with PayPlan to ensure the service continues to have an impact and support nurses, midwives and healthcare support workers in the most effective way, to enable them to continue to provide care to the wider population."
Dr Sarah McGloin, Head of Grants and Impact, RCN Foundation
"Working with PayPlan has been a dream partnership. Our Partnership Manager at PayPlan, Antony, made becoming a referral charity simple, and supported us with all the materials and assets we needed to get going. What we value about PayPlan is the team’s willingness to learn about what works for us and those we support so we can effectively collaborate on projects together. As a result, the nursing and midwifery professionals we support can access a range of new support from PayPlan who handle all our referrals with care and diligence."
Lewis Allett, Chief Executive, Cavell
"It’s a pleasure working with PayPlan, and we appreciate the opportunity to share our experience as a partner.
We work with individuals in their long-term recovery from Gambling Harm and there are many key elements that impact both the individual and their loved ones including relationships, housing, employment as well as financial.
The financial impact can create significant stress for the individual and within families which can lead to further lapses, relapses, break ups and other mental and physical issues if not dealt with.
We are very fortunate to work with such a fantastic organisation like Payplan who go that extra mile to support these very vulnerable people. Each person referred works with the vulnerability team on a one-to-one basis to look at the best options available to become debt free.
We are very appreciative that we have a partner who we can trust implicitly to provide free debt advice support in a very friendly manner. They are historically a family organisation and although they have grown substantially, they have never lost that family approach.
We would recommend anyone to use their services."
Mark Pickering, Engagement Manager, Epic Restart Foundation
