Zoom in with Sara Davison, The Divorce Coach

Divorce is a big issue for both employees and employers and it’s clearly a hot topic. The articles that we’ve published before on this subject are amongst the most-read on www.makeadifference.media.

Ahead of her participation at our sister event, The Watercooler, on 23rd and 24th April, I met Sara Davison, who is a Divorce Coach (with a team of 600 all over the globe). Sara also provides domestic abuse support (in case you didn’t know, it’s now statutory guidance that all companies have a domestic abuse policy).

Sara kindly took the time to share some of her personal story and how it led her to where she is today. In this short (just over 10 mins) video, she also explains the impact that divorce has on employees, how this can affect their work and their workplaces, and practical steps that employers can take to provide the sense of belonging and connection that everyone – but particularly a colleague experiencing a break up – needs.

You can meet Sara and her colleagues at The Watercooler Event at Excel in London on 23rd and 24th April. The Watercooler and co-located The Office events are where workplace culture, employee health & wellbeing and workplace experience connect.

I look forward to seeing you there. You can find full details and register to see 100+ speakers and a host of exhibitors free here.
