As we enter the next phase of the pandemic, there is still a lot of uncertainty and change ahead.
Organisations that are preparing for a return to work are being faced with a lot of anxiety from employees. For some organisations, they are going through the difficult process of restructuring and redundancy and it’s essential that leaders make the health and wellbeing of staff a priority during this time.
One thing is clear, the post pandemic workforce is likely to be more remote; employers realise the benefits of remote working in terms of increased productivity, and employees are seeking increased flexibility – whether it’s to avoid the commute, support their disability, help with care-giving responsibilities or simply to obtain a better work-life balance.
When the only constant is change
Incorporating staff welfare into decision making, will help to minimise any negative impact of these changes and ensure that colleagues are supported through the process.
Employers who want to understand more about the workplace stressors as they navigate the next phase of the pandemic, and how to support the health and wellbeing of their staff, should join us for the Make A Difference Media interactive webinar which we are speaking at and supporting.
