Interactive Webinar: Wellbeing in the New Hybrid World of Work

The COVID-19 pandemic has fundamentally changed what we mean by being ‘at work’. As employers around the world grapple with what work should look like in the aftermath of the pandemic, it seems likely that a significant number of people will continue to work at least in part from home as part of a flexible, hybrid model.
But combining home and office working can be a challenge. Employees and employers each have important roles to play to ease the transitions, find ways to be effective, and ensure mental health and wellbeing are proactively supported in a rapidly evolving work environment.

Supporting wellbeing in the new hybrid world of work

Employers who want to understand how to head off issues such as burnout, stress caused by poor team cohesion, lack of connection and a sense of exclusion can register for a free to attend interactive webinar. This will take place on Wednesday 24th March from 12.30pm – 1.30pm.

We’ll also be talking about the potential for regional hubs that could give employees connection with colleagues without needing to commute to a central office. How will these work in practice?

Make A Difference Media is producing the interactive webinar in association with Minds@Work and with Obo’s sponsorship.

Gary Helm, Founder of Obo said: “We are delighted to sponsor this timely webinar. Our chosen place of work must support our physical, emotional and cognitive ergonomic needs.  We must be encouraged to change posture, position and location; we must feel safe, engaged and connected; and our minds must be able to do their best work.”

The session will be Chaired by Amanda Lambert, interim CEO, Minds@Work and former Chief People Officer, Three UK. Whilst in her role as Chief People Officer at Three Amanda spearheaded a significant wellbeing programme which became a core part of the company culture. She also worked on plans for the flexible working arrangements post Covid-19.
Paul Smith, Chief Strategy Officer with ART Health Solutions will set the scene with an overview of insights from his “Working from home – what the data tells us” report.
Panel members include Jayne Garvey, Chief People Officer with Nuffield Health, as well as Maktuno Suit, Global Transformation Director of marketing and advertising agency Iris Worldwide and Yorgo Lykouria, Founder and Creative Director of integrated design studio Rainlight.
The webinar will cover:
  • Examples of how the COVID-19 pandemic has propelled employee mental health and wellbeing to the top of the agenda
  • Employer vs. employee views of homeworking
  • Approaches to implementing a hybrid model effectively whilst supporting mental, physical and social wellbeing
