Britain at Work Report 2026: The employee view on workplace wellbeing

Health Shield’s Britain at Work 2026 report examines employees’ experiences of workplace health and wellbeing, drawing on the views of more than 2,000 UK workers.

The report explores how employees perceive the wellbeing support available to them, including awareness and use of workplace benefits, barriers to accessing support and the role employers can play in helping people manage their health.

Findings highlight a gap between the support employers provide and employees’ understanding and use of it, alongside continuing pressures around mental, physical and financial wellbeing. The report considers how organisations can improve communication, accessibility and relevance to help wellbeing provision deliver greater value for employees.
