How TSB is supporting colleagues juggling work and care

TSB

With 1 in 11 employees at TSB identifying as adult caregivers – in a workforce including 65% women, who are statistically more likely to be impacted by caregiving – the bank recognised the need to improve the balance between caring responsibilities and careers.

By partnering with KareHero alongside key carer support initiatives including two weeks’ full paid leave, TSB is maximising retention, reducing absenteeism and financial strain – with the potential to save thousands of hours and unlock over £1.78 million in funding for caregiving employees over the next three years.

TSB is leading the way in building a carer-inclusive workplace.

This case study video gives a useful taste of why and how TSB are approaching supporting working carers.
