The wait is over: the full agenda for the 8th annual MAD World Summit is now confirmed — and it’s our most ambitious yet. On 9th October, 70+ leading voices from across business, HR, health, wellbeing, safety, risk, reward, benefits, DE&I, performance and culture will come together for one transformative day designed to give you the insights, strategies, and connections you need right now.

From navigating AI disruption and advancing neuroinclusion to tackling psychosocial risk, rethinking reward, and demonstrating impact with data, this year’s Summit cuts through the noise to focus on the issues keeping leaders up at night. With the NHS under pressure and costs rising, organisations have a unique opportunity to keep workplace culture, employee health and wellbeing high on the agenda – making now the time to act.

It’s time for a new strategy

As one of the keynote speakers from our opening panel said in our prep call yesterday:

“Covid was a very good way to get health and wellbeing on the table. The challenge now is to make sure we don’t revert back to old ways. It’s crucial to continue to highlight the importance of supporting employee health and wellbeing and to make sure that there’s an embedded strategy that can be as flexible as possible. Lots of organisations have a strategy, but it’s not appropriate for today. It needs to be reviewed.”

A strategic catalyst

With three powerful keynotes, four parallel tracks, fourteen roundtable discussions, masterclasses and lots of opportunities for networking, what truly makes MAD World stand out is its commitment to breaking down silos—bringing together senior leaders and practitioners across sectors and functions to align workplace culture, health, and wellbeing with broader business strategy.

This means that it makes sense to bring a group of three, four or more colleagues from across the organisation to the event. That way, you can attend as many of the sessions as possible and compare notes when you are back in the workplace.

This year’s four powerful tracks are:

Prevention & Intervention:

Strategies to help employers reduce risk, support employee health, and keep people working through prevention, early intervention, and effective case management.

Leadership, Culture & Engagement

Creating workplace cultures that empower employees to thrive, retain talent, and engage a multigenerational workforce with sustainable strategies.

The New Shape of Reward

Best practice, insights and inspiration to achieve maximum engagement, optimise investment, and future-proof your approach to benefits and rewards.

Legal Sector Forum – co-curated with MBC and LawCare

“Data, Insight and Impact” – A masterclass in reframing health & wellbeing as a strategic priority for the legal profession with a data-driven approach that minimises risk and maximises impact.

Attendees will be able to switch between tracks so you can attend the sessions best suited to your information needs.

Unmissable

As Karen Sancto, Microsoft’s Benefits Consultant and EMEA Lead of Families said in her profile interview when asked what she is looking forward to at the event and why it’s unmissable:

“The case studies and the stories. And hearing about successful supplier relationships and partnerships. I’m especially looking forward to hearing the challenges that people have had, and how they’ve overcome them, as well as where people see the future”.
