Let’s Get Our Heads Together: Roundtables At The 5th Annual MAD World Summit

One of the most popular features of the annual MAD World Summit is the roundtables. Each of these gives attendees the opportunity to share experiences off the record, create new connections and source ideas to take workplace culture, mental health and wellbeing programmes to the next level.

The 12 tables run for 45 minutes and are then repeated. Delegates move at the end of the first round and can choose to attend two different roundtables.

Roundtable topics for 2022 include”Using storytelling to maintain momentum behind the shift from stigma to solutions”, “Tried and test approaches to getting and keeping boardroom buy-in” and many more.

The closed-door sessions are a fantastic opportunity for real-time knowledge-exchange with peers, to find out what is and isn’t working for others and to get answers to specific questions.

Breaking down silos and bringing teams together

At the 5th annual MAD World Summit on 11 October, recognising that employers above all else want to learn from other employers, the organisers have decided to make the roundtable places exclusively available for employers.

There is also the opportunity for employers to sponsor and host a roundtable. Atkins / SNC Lavalin sponsored a roundtable at the 2021 MAD World Summit. Reflecting on this, Gila Stockell, Learning and Development Consultant with the forward-thinking design, engineering and project management consultancy said:

“Sponsoring a roundtable at the MADWorld Summit was a great opportunity to bring colleagues from across the business together with valued contacts from our supply chain to share ideas and experiences in real-time. Fresh contacts from a wide range of sectors also joined us at our roundtables and it was fantastic to be able to learn from others as well as to reinforce our commitment to the workplace mental health and wellbeing agenda.”

The roundtable sponsorship includes the opportunity to host a roundtable with a colleague and open it up to 10 attendees to attend each sitting. The package also includes 5 delegate passes which can be used for colleagues or contacts from the sponsor’s network. These passes also enable the sponsor and guests to attend all of the different sessions at the Summit across the day.

Sponsors will receive branding on the event website, in the show programme and in the pre-event marketing. So, sponsorship of a roundtable is a great way to showcase your company as a top employer.

Key, anonymous takeaways from the roundtables will be written up in a post-event report which will be published on www.makeadifference.media.
