New webinar: Money talks – what it takes to close gender and money gaps

This webinar has now taken place and can be viewed here.

Despite all the corporate statements and press headlines, the reality of gender gaps in the world of work and money is that very little has changed.

Women are still not only paid less than men, they’re also therefore retiring with pension pots a fraction the size.

We all know why. Women are much more likely to leave work or reduce their hours to focus on caregiving in all its forms, but primarily parenting. And their long-term financial health suffers as a result of being under-prepared and under-funded for later life.

Fresh perspectives on a long established imbalance

Join us for this interactive Make A Difference webinar, sponsored by Octopus Money, on 19th July from 12pm – 1pm, when we’re bringing together a group of female leaders with different perspectives on the challenge facing businesses today, as they seek to enhance financial inclusion and gender pay and pension gaps.

They’ll share perspectives on:

  • What the latest data tells us about gendered approaches, mindsets and attitudes to money.
  • What employers can do to support and drive the fundamental culture shift needed where parenting is split more evenly between partners.
  • How we can break down barriers and help women to start talking about and planning their money much earlier in their careers.
  • How great employers can take responsibility for closing these gaps and retaining the high-performing women in their teams.
