Financial Wellbeing Guide 2023

A new report, presented by the National Forum for Health and Wellbeing at Work and Alliance Manchester Business School, emphasises the urgent need for employers to dismantle social taboos surrounding discussions about money. The Financial Wellbeing Guide 2023 highlights that addressing financial concerns is crucial and that employers should actively encourage employees to share their worries with their colleagues.

Whilst pay is an important factor when addressing concerns about the increasing cost of living, the report emphasises that it is also important for employers to have open conversations with their employees about their financial challenges. By doing so, they can effectively confront the stigma associated with discussing financial difficulties.
