Leaders responsible for workplace culture, employee health and wellbeing across the North of England are being invited to attend an exclusive new regional event this April.

The first Make A Difference Leaders Lunch for the Manchester region will bring together a select group of senior professionals to share insight, challenges and best practice in a collaborative, closed-door setting.

A unique opportunity for North of England employers

Taking place in central Manchester on Thursday 16 April 2026, this inaugural gathering is designed specifically for those shaping workplace culture and wellbeing strategies within their organisations.

With a strong focus on peer-to-peer learning, the event offers a rare chance to step away from day-to-day pressures and engage in meaningful discussion with like-minded leaders from across sectors.

As with our other Leaders’ Lunches, the event is only open to representatives of employers that are not suppliers of workplace culture, employee health or wellbeing related products and services as this means guests feel able to share openly in a safe, sales-free space.

Special guest: insights from Timpson Direct

The lunch will feature a special guest speaker, Will Lankston, Managing Director of Timpson Direct (pictured here) who will share his experience and perspectives on building a strong, values-driven workplace culture.

His contribution will help frame discussions around some of the most pressing challenges facing organisations today.

Key discussion topics

After the scene-setting fireside chat with Will Lankston, attendees will be able to share challenges and solutions around two critical areas for organisations looking to strengthen their approach to employee health and wellbeing:

  • How to secure and maintain senior leadership buy-in
  • How to create a joined-up approach across the business
