City Lit’s Mental Wealth Festival is back and, for its 10th anniversary, they’ve organised an all-star cast of contributors including Sir Grayson Perry, Paul Farmer, Hope Virgo, Mark Malcomson CBE and many more.
Every year City Lit puts on a huge selection of talks, panels, workshops and performances, all in the name of restoring, supporting, and enhancing mental health.
Art, creativity and mental health
Headlining this year’s Mental Wealth Festival on Thursday 10th October is artist, writer, broadcaster and City Lit Fellow Sir Grayson Perry. At what promises to be an exceptional evening, Sir Grayson will discuss the fascinating intersection between art, creativity and mental health – followed by a drinks reception in the City Lit Gallery. All proceeds from this session will go towards the City Lit student bursary.
The Festival runs from 10th to 12th October. All of the Festival events are either free or low-fee, including online and in-person events workshops, talks, discussions, exhibitions, and other activities.
You can find the full agenda for the Festival and reserve your place at the sessions that you would like to attend here: https://www.citylit.ac.uk/events/mental-wealth-festival.
You can also see Mark Malcomson CBE, Chief Executive, City Lit, interviewing former MP and leader of the long-term, cross-party review of mental health, Luciana Berger, as our closing keynote at the Leaders’ Summit at MAD World on 17th October.
